Guest Design Post For SHC

Hello Everyone, 

I was so pleased when i got asked to be a guest designer for SHC again Showing my exploding card box i made using the lovely Laserowe Love 3d Baby Stroller - Its so adorable.

The pram was so easy to assemble and is so useful for anyone having a new baby.
It looks lovely in the middle of exploding boxes and would even come in handy as little decorations , ornaments and even keepsakes as the detail is so exquisite.

I added 2 little pink bows on either side of the pram and a few pearls. I also placed some flowers around the wheels - just to give it more structure.

 The papers are from Maja Design - Vintage baby...

 I love using this paper pad especially for baby cards/projects.

Also plenty of dies used and again more pearls.

Exploding Box Card Wedding for SHC

Hi everyone,

 Today i'm sharing an exploding wedding box card using the lovely new chip boards at Swedish house crafts.

I was absolutely made up when Suha asked me to share this.

When i saw this 3D cake i immediately had to get it as i love them for centerpieces for exploding boxes and it  also can be used for all kinds of occasions and little keepsakes/gifts. 

The design overall is just too pretty.

The cake itself is really easy to assemble with some strong glue.....

 Quick Tip: Use a  craft knife or scissors to pop the pieces out as the chipboard is quite delicate and can snap or tear easy.

Once it was assembled,  i added a few flowers to match the color combination along with some flat back pearl string around each tier.
As it was wedding themed i die cut some hearts and placed them in between the flowers . i also placed a little charm too.

Handmade Advent Calendar

Hi all, 

A really late post but ....
Today i'm sharing this advent calendar that i made using the cute little Lawn Fawn tiny gift box die.

I watched the tutorial on this and just knew i had to try and make it!!!

I loved making this and i'm so glad it turned out quite well. I am definitely going to make more next and year and hopefully sell them.

I cut out 25 boxes in Glad tidings paper and 5 boxes with kraft card for the base . Once all assembled i used little bits of paper to adhere the boxes together to form a hexagon/circle shape.

The layers start at 7,6,5,4,3 and 1 - there is no number 2. To make the base i used 5 boxes.

I decorated it with glitter card , pearls and cut out Christmas images using the new Tim Holtz Christmas things die.

Unicorn exploding Box

Morning everyone....

 I made this Unicorn Exploding Box card a few weeks ago...

Sorry i'm a bit late posting:(

I got asked to make a magical card for a 6th birthday so i came up with this theme. The pinks and purples i thought went quite well together.

I'm so glad it turned out okay!!!

I used the lovely Avery Elle Unicorn stamps, coloured them with promarkers and added a bit of glitter.  I wanted to make a bit of scenes so used Lawn Fawn Cloud borders and Rainbow dies.
The castle is spellbinders and the sentiment is computer generated.

Paper Smooches 'Space Cadet' Pop up card

Hi everyone....

This is the card i made last week, a space themed 3rd birthday pop up using Paper Smooches Stamps.

I'm actually quite pleased with how it turned out.

I coloured the images with promarkers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I used Carta Bella Space academy papers which makes it really bold

 To make the clouds i simply cut them with lawn fawn stitched cloud borders.

LOTV August Challenge - Christmas

Hi Everyone....

Sorry i'm so late posting.
This was my card for the August LOTV Facebook challenge,
the theme was Christmas.

I colored in one of the adorable new stamps
 which is called 'A Little Gift'.

I added a little glitter and finished off with a lot of Christmas embellishments.

Exploding Wedding Card

Hi all....

Today i'm sharing another box card , this time using the love Wycinanka 3D Lacey Cake. 

I love it , its so elegant and fitted perfectly with the theme wedding.

I always add a little glitter to chipboard as i think it makes it standout. I  added it to the Top, Middle  and bottom. ( You can't really notice on the pictures)
